The Fast and the Furious

Our Take

The Fast and the Furious (1955) - Long before it became a billion-dollar soap opera about 'family' and physics-defying tanks, this was a lean, mean B-movie about a framed man and a fast car. It’s a grease-stained, high-speed dash toward the Mexican border with nothing but raw nerve and a stolen Jaguar. Corman delivers a punchy, low-budget thrill ride that smells like burning rubber and pure desperation. It’s the original asphalt-burning rebel yell, filmed with the kind of grit you can only find in a 1950s rearview mirror. No CGI, just lead feet and iron guts.
